• Podcasters – Hosts who shine a light on older guests’ accomplishments and contributions
• Short Form Writers – Works published in newsletters, blogs, or online media
• Standard Bearers – Individuals whose life and achievements make them Exemplars of Aging

• Authors – Writers of books launched in 2026 including fiction with vibrant older protagonists, and nonfiction addressing subjects and themes that enrich the lives of an older readership.
• Podcasters – Hosts of podcasts active in 2026 that feature engaging older guests and address the complexity and vibrancy of later life.
• Short Form Writers – Writers of stories, articles and essays published in 2026 that explore the vivid lives of older people.
• Standard Bearers – Persons whose creative work, advocacy, and attitude embody the many strengths of older adults. This category is open to creative people in any field — including those working outside traditional publishing, broadcasting, or media platforms.

For the 2026 awards, nominations will be generated internally by the Organizing Committee, and winners will be selected by the committee. We welcome your thoughts on potential nominees at info@ExemplarsofAging.com.

In subsequent years, the program will issue a public call for nominations.
